Guests are offered free drop-off/pickup from Arapuni, other areas incur a fee of $10p.p for each half hour of driving up to one hour, with $40 minimum fee.Our van takes up to 8 bikes/10 people. The Hydro Road is situated amongst an established woodland garden, right on the doorstep of Lake Karapiro - just a two minute drive or five minute walk away. Hydro Road offers two options of accommodation - the self-contained unit and two in-house rooms for additional guests. Watch the water sports, have a game of golf (only five minutes drive away) or go shopping in Cambridge - the town of arts, crafts and antiques. Maungatautari Mountain Ecological Reserve and walking tracks are only seven kilometres away. Centrally located in the Waikato, Hydro Road is within an hours drive of Rotorua, Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Raglan and Waitomo. It is a ten minute drive to Mystery Creek, Hamilton and Hamilton International Airport. Walk only five minutes and you arrive at the Powerhouse Restaurant Cafe and Bar which overlooks the lake.
