Old Coach road is leading from Mangahua Rd through to Waiparera Rd, Parua Bay.

Directions

There are two ways to tackle this trail. Drive to,then up up Mangahua Rd to steel gate, the Coach Rd starts on left, and runs through to Waiparera Rd for approx 5K's.
Then turn around and retrace the journey.

Or you can stop at the Forestry sign at Taheke on long straight 35-41.44 33 - 174-27,54 68.
Leave car and follow the road into the forest and head in an easterly direction until you reach above gate.
At end of trail go right into forestry rd and head up the hill until you come to the Rd, then left/right depending where you left your car.
