Aroha Island is a small wildlife reserve and camping area 12 km north of Kerikeri.
The gates are normally open from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. There is a loop walk around the island at the end of the causeway. The walkway has seats at intervals and markers for native trees and other items of interest. Allow about 45 minutes to do the loop walk. There is a seat and grassy picnic area half way round with views out into the Bay of Islands.
