This is one of the 'Must Do' Tracks!

Getting to the top is a bit of a mission both in effort and navigation but its totally worth it!

Directions

Its about an hour of grunting to get to the top, but worth the effort. Park at the top of the Marsden Valley Road.
From The Top of the Marsden Valley road, go through the gate next to the entrance to the Quarry, then 100m on follow the road through another gate and all the way up the hill.
This is a test of your fitness. At the top the road switches back and comes around beneath the Hanglider takeoff, you will see wind indicators to let you know you are there.
The road then splits, take the right hand bend and get right to the top of the Hanglider takeoff site.
There is a toilet here. behind the toilet on the eastern side there is a fenceline with a gate in it, go over the gate and then turn left along the firebreak heading north.
The firebreak drops down and around a corner, and then you see the firebreak head up very steeply to the left, and the road heads around to the right.
You need to climb up that firebreak! Once at the top of the firebreak, keep following it all the way down and up again into the native bush.
Once you are in the native bush, about 200m on your left you will find the start of the track.
A slightly shorter route is to take the left hand split when you get to the top, and about 200m along, where there is a notch in the hill, you can get through the gorse to the bottom of the firebreak a bit quicker.
Last ride up, this had been cut out and was indeed rideable!
