Situated at the western end of SH 60, Collingwood is a quiet little hamlet of a town. It's an ideal place to base yourself to tackle the Heaphy Track in the Kahurangi National Park.

Rent a mountain bike and explore beautiful Aorere Valley, kayak around the Ruataniwha Inlet, or check out one of the many walking trails near town. Situated near the edge of Golden Bay, Collingwood is a fantastic place to sample fresh & local seafood.
