Kokonga
Destination
Tiny little Kokonga (which translates to 'Bending River') is found on the Otago Rail Trail and like many towns in the area started as railway settlement in the late 1800s.
Today, it functions as a stop-over for anyone riding the rail trail with a couple accommodation and food options.
