Pipiriki is a small village of about 200 people located on the banks of the Whanganui River.
This quiet, picturesque settlement is 27 kms from Raetihi and is the gatway to the wilderness reaches of the Whanganui River. It's a popular spot for kayaking, canoeing and jet-boating on the river.
The Mountain to Sea Cycleway will continue from Pipiriki after cyclists have taken a jet boat ride down the river from the Bridge to Nowhere. From Pipirki, cyclists will ride the Whanganui River Road to Wanganui.
